Karlah Ramírez-Tánori
Is Executive Director.
Karlah Ramírez Tanori brings more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience rooted in advocacy, housing stability, trauma-informed care, and community-centered service. Her connection to this work is both professional and personal, shaped by early experiences in a household where addiction was present and by witnessing the healing that becomes possible when people are surrounded by dignity, structure, accountability, and a strong recovery community.
As she steps into the role of Executive Director at Hope Street, Karlah is honored to carry forward the foundation built by Karen, the staff, residents, and the broader Hope Street community. Her leadership is grounded in listening first, building trust, honoring lived experience, and supporting safe, sober, and supportive housing where women can strengthen their recovery, rebuild their lives, and move toward long-term stability.
Outside of work, Karlah enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, spending time with her family, and finding joy in places where culture, community, and connection come together.
